History

History

Seven Stones has its origins in Pentacompany, which was founded in 1998 by Ineke Kievit, Richard Voorendonk and Peter Draisma. Pentacompany was a high quality psychological consultancy firm offering services such as assessments, coaching, training and strategic advice. The ‘5’ in the name of Pentacompany stood for the Big 5 personality traits, the widely used, most substantiated and nuanced personality model. As founders, we worked together from a deep-rooted passion for our profession. After some time, Richard and Peter decided to move on together while Ineke focussed on her specialisations independently. During the 20 years of collaboration between Richard and Peter, a group of regular, loyal clients benefitted from Penta’s knowledge and experience. Many significant, high-quality projects were carried out during this period, both at home and abroad. A number of applied psychological concepts such as MD programmes and 360 feedback tools were also developed. In due course, when our living situations and career paths slowly began to diverge, we ended the Pentacompany era. Saying goodbye was not easy, it is an emotional process of letting go and finding ourselves again. However, as is often the case, ending something which had required a lot of love and attention left room for new shoots to grow. In gratitude for the past and with confidence about the future, Seven Stones is proof of this.
